dan recently finished d-ash as recommended by jun and i havent picked up any new manga since then.
anime-wise i'm watching damekko doubutsu.. it's about useless animals (just like mee!) and it's quite kawaii.. though it only has 5 min long eps.. also watching sketchook ~full colourS~.. another slice of life anime :O

not watching/reading non-anime/manga stuff atm.. lost got boring so dan quit =.="

ummm well! omg ! it was so good ! coz like it didn't follow a typical storyline of a drama like u hav old ppl young ppl old couple young couple, conflic, blablabla, the young couple cannot hav baby infertile, thers always the rich poor family.. etc.

but this one was like! woah!
about the lives of directors, writers, actors and managers. and it was good.
And ye theres conflicts but its not the normal, "i'm infertile" conflict..~~

ummmm and it was 22 eps which was kinda short but thats ok . short is good, long gets boring...

oh and it was called On Air, coz its ON air get it like ON AIR ur on tv..

umm....

and dats about it!

o the actress in it wasnt very pretty,,, but she was so hardkore at acting...
she had to act as a topstar in the drama and also act in the drama within the drama coz the drama was about making dramas...
and dats about it

i finished sketchbook :O it's a GREAT anime, so relaxing and the characters are so cute.. highly recommend to those who liked mahoraba/minami ke =]
it's a typical slice of life anime.. it's like lucky star but with less over-the-topness.

An anime about books and two factions that fight over them... Sounds stupid right? After watching 9/12 eps, here are my impressions of this anime =3

Story (9/10)
The story is veeery unique. It may seem quite strange at first but it has some really nice underlying values (worthy of english!).. The main one being freedom of speech. It's a really different anime, it's got a bit of everything: politics.. love, fighting, comedy etc. It's nice =].

Animation (5/10)
Nothing special...

Music (9.5/10)
The OP and ED for this anime fit VERY well.. Especially the ED. I loved almost every ending.. the way the music kinda fades in is really an overlooked technique, it adds the greatest atmosphere and tops off each episode. And it's a great song, it really suits the anime.

Characters (8/10)
The main characters arent brilliant. They're your typical outgoer hero type. The kind who would dive in front of a bullet to save a kid or something like that. The main character's bestie is an interesting character.. she's such a good friend but she's shady and eeeebil! (not really).. Though the main guy and girl fit eachother quite well so that's ok i guess lol =].

Overall (8.5)
Dont be put off by my loww score.. Dan is harsh when it comes to reviews.. so yah.. it's an awesome anime (so far anyway) and it's something i'd watch up till like 4 in the morning so it's worth the time =].


humm back to the topic, i'm currently watching "bokura ga ita".. and guess what!! it's a shoujo omg! Dan's a girl! ... yah hate to admit it but after 3 eps i have to say i'm lovin it... it's so heart warming *fuzzy feeling*.. I have a feeling this is gonna turn out to be one of my favs.. it's so nice! Just watch the op if you don't believe me . very sweet! <3.. Here it is so you don't have to look! =.="
