Romance is the heart and soul basis of manga/ anime....

Stating sum down right away
midori no hibi
chobits
shakugan no shana (shana is jst waiiiii tooo kawaiiiiiiii)
D-ash (manga.... its jst SUPERB)
ichigo 100% (the story line is ACTUALLY DECENT)
Shuffle! (ending is abit ... slit wrists BUT ITS FOR LOVE )
Basilisk (although more of a fighting... has underlying love which is pretty cool)
Kaze no stigma (ur regular shounen when the hero goes pewpew every 1 dies BUT theres a love story)
Witchblade (not romance but like.. motherly love for her daughter?)
Full Metal Panic (its actually funny o.O)
They are my noble masters (its FUNNY!)
Zero no tsukaima
Sola (best animation of 2007)

These are only the some i know.... not the many i WANT TO WATCH / read... so seroiusly get started yoyo!

PS: i say those that watch soul eater are jokers, coz manga hands down owns anime any time any day... yes yes u guys might say it doesnt have animation and its lousier... WELL I WAS ONCE LIKE THAT AND NOW I PREFER MANGA SOOOo...... yeah....
